Lovely shot :) Must've been a bloody huge woodpile. Lovely warm colours & love the way you completely filled the frame.

It reminds me of something my art history teacher told me when we were covering Jackson Pollock (I'm sure you know the guy, the American painter who did all the abstract splatter paintings in the 50s or thereabouts) & told us that the best way to look at one of his pieces was to concentrate on one colour at a time - look for the reds first, say, & they pull your eye around the canvas in one way, the whites in another etc. It's almost like music. That's kinda like what I see here - if I focus on one tone, or shape, a rhythm jumps out at me. I'm sure that's not what you see at all but hey, different people see different strengths in the same piece of art, that's one of the great things about it :)

I'm rambling, aren't i... :blahblah:
Hope you've some vague idea of what I'm on about :P

You are not rambling, not even a bit! I have read some stuff about Pollock and ive heard about that way - to concentrate on one colour at a time , and yes it does seem like music.
I am very glad that you left me this comment, i love it so much when people leave me comments that give me ideas and tell me something that i havent heard or seen about my picture yet, not just, hey nice, which is welcomed aswell, but still
Because usually i am just the tool to make the piece, and others have to tell me what it is about, even if i feel its about something else that they tell me!

Your comment made me really glad, and i thank you for that

All the best to you and come by again, i try to upload stuff as often as i can, take care !
